Vanya Jones is an Associate Professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Department of Health, Behavior, and Society. Her academic career merges health education and program development to reduce the burden of unintentional and intentional injuries for underserved populations (children and older adults) and communities with limited resources. She received her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, an MPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), and a Ph.D. from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
