Jennifer Ross is a highly accomplished education professional with more than twenty-five years of experience and expertise in the education sector. As Director for Education Initiatives, Ms. Ross oversees and coordinates Johns Hopkins’s initiatives aimed at improving the quality and access to educational opportunities for children and youth in Baltimore City.
Ms. Ross has made significant contributions to various institutions and organizations. Notably, she founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of the National Collegiate Preparatory Public Charter High School in Washington, D.C. In a previous role, Ms. Ross served as the Interim Executive Director of iMentor in the Baltimore region and played a pivotal role in rebranding the organization.
Ms. Ross holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work with a focus on Business Development from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Howard University. Additionally, Ms. Ross is a certified International Baccalaureate School Administrator and is a member on the Boards of the Center for Racial Equity and Justice, and Women Leading Baltimore, an organization that serves adolescent girls to expose them to multiple careers, colleges, and universities during their early years of high school. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
